I was browsing online news and accidentally I stumbled this article about Cindy McCain Credit Card Debt. Cindy McCain, Brew heiress, wife of Sen. John McCain, a potential first lady revealed that she owes atleast $250,000 and as much as half a million on her credit card bills!.

Cindy McCain Credit Card Debt between $100,000 and $250,000 each on two American Express credit cards based on the disclosure statements which reveals a range of debt not a precise figure.
That is really an awful lot of debt! but taking into consideration the income of Mrs. McCain which is $6 million in 2006 and couple's total household assets between $24.6 million to $39.5 million then Cindy McCain credit card debt amount is simply peanut to her.

Checklist to know if you’re in debt trouble
Four months ago I don't care what my financial status is, I don't care if I acquire debt, I don't mind using my credit card, I don't mind seeing my self 3-4 years from now. Until one day, while surfing the net I come across a site that talks about various topics about finance. How he visualize himself 1 year or 25 years from now.
I realize that in my age now and in my family status I should be taking charge of my finances. Nothing is permanent in this world and though I have a not so bad pay with my current job I failed to take control of my debt - consumer debt in particular.
I'm now in what other calls it - "in debt trouble". How about you? when was the last time you take charge to clear up your financial worries? Do you want to know if you are in debt trouble?
Debt Management Update
In my short term goals, you've noticed that Paying off my debts is on top of my priority list. My target is to free my self with the debt accumulated from credit card and lending company before the end of 2008. I know that I must be serious with my debt management program for me concentrate fully to my other personal finance matters like saving and investment.
